Pool Maintenance

Let us do the dirty work.

Based on your preference, we offer two pool maintenance packages (weekly or bi-weekly) for our above ground pool customers. Summers are there to relax, let us handle the hard work, so you have more free time for your family and friends.

Initial Pool Start Up

The initial start up can often be more work than regular pool maintenance depending on how green and dirty your pool is. We can help make this process easier.

Included in the service

  • Scoop leaves and heavy debris if needed
  • Add shock and algaecide to pool (amount dependent on cleanliness of pool)
  • Vacuum pool and clean filter as needed
  • Add additional shock or flock pool as needed to clear
  • Test and balance pool water

This process can take from 2 to 10 visits depending on how dirty the pool is.

We use the customer’s pump and filter during this process.

Note: This service is only available to customers who signed up for our reoccurring pool cleaning service.

Weekly or Bi-Weekly Pool Cleaning

Every pool requires a different amount of maintenance. Based on your preference our crew comes out weekly or bi-weekly.

Included in the service

  • Take a water sample for analysis in store
  • Test water on site to determine shock treatment
  • Vacuum pool
  • Brush and/or scoop if needed
  • Backwash or clean filter as needed
  • Add any chemicals needed to maintain balance or sanitization of pool.

We use the customer’s pump and filter in this process.

Does not include initial clean-up of pool, which may be more involved.

FAQs

What do I need to do before someone comes out for the start up process?

Before our team can start up your above ground pool, please ensure that the winter cover has been removed and the equipment is hooked up. The water level needs to be up to mid skimmer level so we can run the pump and the water can circulate.

During the start up process the pump should be running 24/7 unless advised otherwise. This will allow the chemicals to circulate and contaminants to be filtered out of the pool. It also helps to clean the filter if it becomes plugged between our visits.

How do I know if I need weekly or bi-weekly cleanings?

Whether or not your pool is high maintenance or low maintenance can depend on a number of factors such as trees surrounding your pool, past issues with water balancing, frequency in pool usage, and the weather.

If you find that your pool is dirtier more often than not, we recommend weekly pool cleanings. If you think your pool is relatively clean for long periods of time or you can take care of it in between services, bi-weekly pool cleanings can be sufficient.
