FAQ Friday - How to Prime a Pool Pump? Make sure water from the pool is able to flow into the pump. Turn the pump is off. Open the pump’s lid and fill the pump with water using a garden hose or a bucket. Close the lid and turn the pump on. Water should start flowing through till there is only a little air bubble at the top.

If you are unsure you can send us an email with picture of the hole at customerservice@fpnorth.com. To get an idea of the size hold a nickel or dime next to the hole so we can evaluate the tear.
